The Shepherd and Mother of Light Gala is validation that despite being spread across the world, we all have one goal to support our brothers and sister in our motherland Egypt. Care 4 Needy Copts is fortunate to be a part of the service, serving along The Shepherd & Mother of Light.

Thoughtful words were shared by Dr. Nabila Makram about The Shepherd & Mother of Light service. She mentioned how during her visit to the field, she really felt as if she had met Saints, as the late Pope Shenouda used to call the needy. She felt that the service has changed her life and is continuing to make a difference in her life. She emphasized how important it is that the service encourages younger generations to serve and witness firsthand the fruit of the service.

Mrs. Marian Azer also had kind words to share about the service, she focused on the beauty of giving by stating, “We give because there is joy in lending a helping hand to those who need it most; ultimately, we are the ones who benefit. We should give them our time, love, and support. When you give back, you win big.” To listen to Mrs. Azer’s full speech, visit Care 4 Needy Copts’ Facebook page.
