Amazing trip, with amazing people, amazing servants, and most of all an AMAZING God!

People have been asking what our take aways were from the service trip and there are so many things we could share, but ultimately it all comes back to our AMAZING God!

Throughout the week we served as Christ’s hands and feet. At Upper Egypt from Bani swif to ElMania, we handed school supplies, chocolate, and cookies to students in Kindergarten classes and after-school extra help. Bedsheets to families. Playing and singing songs with the special needs children and celebrating one year of opening the Special needs workshop. The income project sector was a favorite to many of us. To support the families with projects, we did shopping from shoes to makeup to garlic 🙂

The group had the privilege to see how God can unite different people, with different experiences and gifts, and use us to accomplish His mission. The content of the families and their children touched our hearts.

When we go on mission trips, the purpose is not about how we feel, but how the people we served did, feel. Did we make a difference in the lives of the people we met? Did we show love along with a kind word?

Special thanks to the servants of the Shepherd and Mother of Light who actually did the work all year round.
