What We Do
Care 4 Needy Copts (C4NC) is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on transforming the lives of the Copts living in extreme poverty in Egypt. We achieve this by providing essential funding to the Shepherd and Mother of Light (SML), an organization in Egypt.
Each month, during the third week, our dedicated SML volunteers travel to Upper Egypt to monitor the progress of current beneficiaries and identify new families in dire need of assistance. Every new case is carefully assessed, ensuring tailored development plans are implemented based on each family’s unique circumstances.
Since our founding in 2007, Care 4 Needy Copts has profoundly impacted countless families through various targeted programs that deliver critical services to those in need. Our programs are organized into nine distinct categories, all designed with one goal in mind: to elevate families from poverty to a level where their basic needs—such as food, shelter, clean water, clothing, education, and healthcare—are not only met but sustained.
Social Services
C4NC provides monthly financial support to distressed families, including widows and those unable to care for themselves. By assisting individuals facing illness or disabilities, we ensure that no one has to struggle alone.
Education
C4NC plays a vital role in funding various SML Education programs for underserved Coptic communities through a holistic educational approach for preschool, after-school tutoring, college scholarship programs, and literacy centers.
Healthcare
C4NC delivers essential medical care by supplying patients with monthly medications. Furthermore, for those unable to pay, C4NC covers all expenses for examinations, treatments, and surgeries at Misr Al-Mahaba Hospital, making healthcare accessible to everyone.
Economic Development
This program improves people's conditions, enabling them to provide for their families through small projects, interest-free loans, job matching, vocational training, and factory opportunities.
Special Needs
C4NC empowers individuals with physical and mental challenges by enhancing their self-care skills and promoting independence. SML educational centers and workshops offer support that not only helps them thrive but also encourages them to contribute to their communities.
Construction
Care 4 needy Copts helps families live in healthy and secure homes with basic necessities. A fresh start, a safe space, and a symbol of hope.
The King's daughter
Care 4 Needy Copts empowers young women, teaching them to protect themselves, have fellowship, and find their place in their oppressive culture.
Campaigns
Care 4 Needy Copts has four primary campaigns each year to bring smiles to needy families during important holidays such as Easter and Christmas, back to school and The Month of Mercy.
