Income Projects
Our income projects are a lifeline for the needy Copts in Egypt, offering them hope, dignity, and the opportunity for a brighter future. Through these projects, we empower individuals to become self-sufficient by providing them with the skills and resources they need to generate sustainable income. By focusing on vocational training, entrepreneurship, and oversight through microfinance initiatives, we ensure that our efforts have a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.
The income projects we finance vary. Examples include helping individuals start small retail businesses to sell either groceries or clothing; start agricultural businesses to raise livestock or grow food; start transportation and delivery businesses; and purchase sewing machines to make and repair clothing. The income project loans are interest-free with maturities between 12 and 24 months. Since 2010, we have started 1,900 income projects.
When individuals attain financial stability, they gain confidence, improve their quality of life, and inspire others in their community to do the same. By focusing on the human aspect of our work, we aim to highlight the profound impact these projects have on individual lives.
