Who We Are
Care 4 Needy Copts (C4NC) is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. C4NC was started in 2007 when The Shepherd and Mother of Light (SML), a charitable foundation based in Egypt, invited a group of servants from the U.S. to witness the distressing environment the Christian population of Egypt suffers. This visit ignited our passion to pursue the cause and advocate awareness in the U.S. The inhumane conditions and extreme poverty became our drive to establish C4NC for the sole purpose of supporting the needy Coptic population of Egypt. We provide financial aid and support to improve the health and well-being of needy Copts in Egypt.
