5K Run for a Cause LI
Care 4 Needy Copts is organizing a 5K Race to bring family and friends together for a day of fitness and for a great cause of funding a new Special Needs Center in Samalot, El-Menia.
The new center will provide Special Needs individuals with opportunities to learn new skills. They will have the chance to take classes in which they will learn how to make candles, perfumes, soap detergent and for the adults, shoes and bed sheets. The center will also hold classes to teach life skills to ensure their inclusion in their community.
Race Day Schedule:
7:00am Registration opens (ALL abilities are WELCOME)
8:30am 5K Race Starts (Chip timed event)
10:00am Awards

If you can’t run with us on race day. No problem! You can participate in the virtual race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Please share a photo of yourself after you finish on the Facebook event.
