Dr. Tharwat Bassily was a great example of a real Christian who dedicated his heart to God, the Church, and our Country.
Dr. Bassily departed due to illness on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017.
A talented entrepreneur, Dr. Bassily was the founder of Amoun Pharma, one of Egypt’s largest private med producers, and was the head of the Pharma Division at the Federation of Egyptian Industries.
Dr. Bassily was also the founder of CTV Channel. He spent his life serving others and had so much love for everyone, especially the poor.
Through the years, Dr. Bassily was an honored guest at many of The Shepherd and Mother of Light events in Egypt, as well as Care 4 Needy Copts’ event in Chicago. The service will never forget his support and his generosity toward Egypt’s forgotten.
May the Lord repose his soul in the Paradise of Joy and give Peace and Comfort to his family and friends.
